Jeff joined STAMA somewhere around June 2007. He originally had gotten his son, Dylan, interested in Isshinryu karate and he figured he had to join in with his son. When Jeff was asked why he was interested he simply replied, "It looks like a lot of fun." Through the years he has enjoyed learning the simplistic ways to defend himself. He found that defending himself in many different ways with little to no effort to be very interesting. Jeff also helps with instructing the students, especially the "Little Dragons". He figured that someone had decided that he had a lot of patience andthat he was good with kids. Jeff's reply to this was none other than, "I ain't no doctor, I have no patience. I do enjoy working with the kids, when they behave." However, some of the other instructors at STAMA stick to their belief and Jeff has done a fantastic job teaching the little ones. As of right now Jeff mainly wants to focus on achieving his Black Belt.

Hector joined STAMA about six years ago. He always love learning something new that would help him in so many aspects of life. STAMA has helped him both physical and mentally. Hector has always wanted to make a positive difference in someone's life and he hopes to achieve this goal by being a part of STAMA and helping to instruct those students around him. He hopes that atleast one person will be helped by all the time he has put into teaching and assisting students, in which ever way that may be. Hector aims to keep alive an age old tradition by teaching an art that has been passed down by many generations before him. STAMA and Isshinryu karate is something that has been so benificial to his life in many ways. It has helped him in making so many great decisions just in the past six years.
